Ortszentrum Krimml, 835 m
Der Krimmler Tauern war 1947 eine Schlüsselstelle für die Flucht von 5.000 jüdischen Männern, Frauen und Kindern aus Osteuropa vor Verfolgung und Lebensbedrohung. Ihr Ziel war eine neue Heimat – Palästina.
Zum Gedenken an die Ereignisse von damals und an diejenigen, die den Flüchtlingen geholfen haben, wurde 2013 der Nationalpark-APC-Friedensweg mit insgesamt sieben Gedenktafeln entlang der historischen Fluchtroute von Krimml nach Kasern eingerichtet.
Mögen die Texte entlang dieser Route alle Menschen, die diesen Friedensweg beschreiten, in ihren Gedanken begleiten und sie ermutigen, hinzuschauen, zu handeln und zu helfen, wo und wann immer Unrecht ihre Wege kreuzt.

The Krimml Tauern Pass was one of the decisive bottlenecks during the escape of 5,000 Jewish men, women and children from Eastern Europe in 1947 when they fled persecution and the threat of death. Their destination was a new homeland – Palestine.
In 2013, the historic escape route from Krimml to Kasern was named National Park APC Peace Trail. So as to remember the events of those days and the people who helped the refugees, seven commemorative plaques were installed along this route.
May the texts on these plaques remain in the thoughts of those who walk along this peace trail and encourage them to be aware of any injustice, wherever and whenever it should arise, and to act and help accordingly.

Krimml, centro villagio, 835 metri di altezza
Nel 1947 il Passo dei Tauri vicino a Krimml fu un punto chiave di passaggio per la fuga di 5.000 ebrei – uomini, donne e bambini – dall’Europa dell’Est dove venivano perseguitati e minacciati di morte. Il loro traguardo era una nuova patria, la Palestina.
Nel 2013 la storica via di fuga da Krimml a Casere fu denominata “Nationalpark-APC-Friedensweg” (Via della Pace del Parco Nazionale e dell’APC), e sette targhe commemorative sono state poste lungo questa via in ricordo di quegli avvenimenti e di chi allora si prodigò per aiutare i fuggiaschi.
Possano i testi scritti sopra di esse accompagnare il pensiero di tutti quelli che percorrono la Via della Pace ed incoraggiarli ad osservare attentamente, agire ed aiutare sempre dove e quando le loro strade dovessero incrociare l’ingiustizia.
